

Kimball passed away peacefully on 02/04/2021 surrounded by his family and wife of 55 years after losing his battle with COVID. He was a loving and caring man that cared about everyone he met. Kimball enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends while fishing, hunting, camping and barbeques. He married the love of his life Sharon Leona Butterfield on April 15, 1965 and was later sealed in the LDS Temple of American Fork on 8/06/2005. Together they had 4 children, 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren with 1 on the way.
Kimball had a special place in his heart for his nephews Gordon Burkholder, Michael Burkholder, Kevin Lynn Butterfield and Niece Heather Marie Draper, he loved them as if they were his children. Kimball loved all of his nieces and nephews and loved seeing them at family gatherings.
Survived by Wife: Sharon Rigby; Son: Scott Rigby, Daughters: Kimberley (Tom) Travis and Trudy (Craig) Keyworth. Twin brother: Kenneth (Julie) Rigby, Johnny (Esther) Rigby Gayle (Elaine) Rigby and baby sister Rosanne (Dave) Arno.
Preceded in death by his father Samuel W. Rigby, Mother Julia A. Rigby; 5 sisters, 2 brothers, Son Daniel L. Rigby Great Granddaughter Kali Ann Mcshane.
The family wants to give special Thanks to the ICU team at Mountain West Medical for their professionalism and taking care of him till the end. Special Thanks to Rebekkah Aldridge at Grantsville Medical Clinic for all her support throughout this whole process.
To honor Kimball's memory a viewing will be on Wednesday February 10, 2021, 6:00pm-8:00pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4435 W 4100 S West Valley City, Utah and again an hour before funeral services. Funeral services will be at Valley View Funeral Home Thursday February 11, 2021, 2:00pm. All services will be by invitation only.
Due to Covid-19 regulations, 50 persons allowed at a time in the building, face coverings required and practice social distancing.
