Beloved Father, Son and Brother

Joseph Leroy Trujillo Passed away on July 18, 2014. He was born on September 2, 1953 in Tooele, Utah to Jimmy Trujillo and Inez Valdez Trujillo. He graduated from Cyprus High in 1972. He married Susan Duncan and had their daughter Lori, and later divorced. He married Linda Pendley and had three children Justin, Mathew and Jeremy. They later divorced.

Leroy was employed at Kennecott Copper for 40 years and had just recently retired.

Leroy was a very hard worker and was known for being very meticulous about his vehicles and appearance. He always had a smile on his face. Leroy was a kind soul and always willing to help and teach others. His children and family meant the world to him and he found great joy in fishing, camping, BBQ dinners and any other time he could spend with his family.

He is survived by his children; Lori, Justin, Mathew and Jeremy and Elmondo Tapia; five grandchildren: Anthony Sazesh, Mateo Trujillo, Alexia Collins, Myra Trujillo, Braxton Trujillo; Mother, Inez; Father, Jimmy and step mother, Betty Trujillo; siblings: Felix (Frances) Trujillo, Susan (Rick) Cabrera, Lydia (Mark) Wimmer, John (Jennifer) Trujillo; Frances Luna; Michael (Annette) Mondragon; Raymond Mondragon, Carmen (Demis) Candelaria, and Diana (Patrick) Keating.

His grandparents Daniel and Frances Vigil precede him in death.

Viewing will be held Friday July 25, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home. 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City Utah

Funeral Service will be held Saturday July 26, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Calvary Chapel of Salt Lake City, 460 West Century Drive, where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 to10:45 am prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
