Linda grew up in Salt Lake City on Indiana Avenue and attended West High School. At the age of 16, she met the love of her life, Richard Wayne Williams. The two were married on July 25, 1963, in Ely, Nevada, and shared a devoted marriage of 61 years. Together, they built a loving family that included their daughter, Diana Lee Williams Miller and son, Jeffery Wayne Williams.
Linda retired in 2000 after a dedicated 33-year career with Abbott Laboratories. In retirement, she embraced her love for the outdoors, creating countless cherished memories with her family. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends. Linda’s life was marked by her generous spirit and commitment to service. She volunteered countless hours at her grandchildren's schools, supported the Christmas Box House, and contributed to numerous projects benefiting the homeless shelter.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband Richard; her children: Diana (David) Miller and Jeff (Wendy) Williams; seven grandchildren: Kristin (Robert) Farmer, Skyler (Melissa) Miller, Justin Williams, Taylor (Sara) Miller, Jesse Williams, Thomas (Francine) Miller, and Jacob Miller; and twelve great-grandchildren: Kendal, Savannah, Cameron, Levi, Sophia, Logan, Jackson, Brody, Mia, Bently, Chevelle, Henry—and one more on the way.
