Lorraine Hopkins passed away May 3, 2014 after a long battle with heart disease, diabetes and lupus.Lori enjoyed working in accounting and office management for 40 years. She was an active member of the LDS Church and held many positions over the years, mostly in Relief Society.She enjoyed tole painting, card making, counted cross stitch and embroidery, sewing and reading. She loved cats. She was preceded in death by parents, Gilbert M. and Virla K. Hopkins; brothers, Raymond William and Keith Gilbert. She is survived by her brother, Robert Lewis Hopkins; many nieces; nephews; and cousins.Graveside services will be Friday, May 9, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, Utah. Viewings will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday morning from 10-11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street.
