Margaret Elaine Johnson

Our beautiful mom, grandmother & great grandmother passed away peacefully on June 25, 2015. Born March 30, 1926 in Castle Gate, Utah to Welbur Alma Hardee and Edna Mae Reese Hardee. She graduated from Carbon High School. She married Bruce R. Johnson on June 10, 1944 in Castle Gate which was days prior to him shipping out for Normandy.

Elaine is survived by her children Ron Johnson, Laurie (Mike) Bellows, Randy (Sandy) Johnson and Leslie (Ralph) Jacketta. She has 10 grandchildren, Ronnie, Kelly, Magaan, Matthew, Ryan, Jenny, Christin, Casey, Ebony, Marcel and in addition 11 great grandchildren. She loved all of them very much. It always brightened her day when they came to visit. She is also survived by her sisters Dorothy Vlamakis and Joyce (Boyd) Newbold. Preceded in death by her husband Bruce, her mom and dad, her sister Gwendolyn and two infant baby brothers.

The Viewing will be held at Valley View Mortuary, 4335 West 4100 South on Monday evening June 29th from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 30, 2015 at Valley View Mortuary at 1:00 P.M with a viewing from 12:00 to 12:45 preceding the services.
