Mary Cathern Winn

You were born May 13, 1950 in Fletcher, Oklahoma. You were your daddy's favorite. You married your best friend, Chad Winn on September 2, 1972 in Kearns, UT. It was the happiest day of your life, that is, until you had kids.

Indeed, your proudest moment came when God sent you a child. You had a son and a daughter who made you so very happy. You made Michael and Melissa, Brent, Easton and Paris your foremost priority. No matter the stakes you were not afraid to be a mom and a grandma and your kids are forever grateful for your courage.

While the world knows you as a tireless bookkeeper, manager, and cashier, we know you as someone whose love has no limits. The most selfless, dedicated, honest, honorable, fearless wife, mother, grandma, sister anyone could be so blessed to know.

So, while we miss you we know you passed the test and we'll see you again soon. Until then, we love you.

Mary is survived by her husband, Chad; son, Michael Winn; daughter, Melissa (Brent) Roundy; grandkiddos, Easton and Paris Roundy; sisters, Barbara (Mike) Manning, Betty (Gary) Kinder; many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Steven Winn and parents, James and Frances Hester.

Funeral services for Mary will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday morning from 9:30-11:00 am prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
