Nicholas “Nick” 28, tragically passed away in an unforeseen accident on Beaver Mountain August 20th. Nick’s last moments were spent doing what he loved, hunting/camping with his family, on the mountain he spent almost every summer on growing up.
Nick was a kind hearted, loving father and husband to Ashley Burton, married on 3/3/2012, and their two boys Alexander, age 4, and Jaxon, age 1.
Nick had many passions and he never backed down from a challenge. His stubbornness, persistence, and strong work ethic helped him achieve anything he set his mind to.
Some of the many things he loved doing were hunting, fishing, being outdoors, buying and selling almost anything to turn a profit, cooking, and above all spending time with his family and teaching his boys to be great men like their father.
Nicholas left behind many loved ones. His loving wife Ashley and two handsome boys Alex and Jaxon. His parents Steve and Karen. His two brothers Cody and Christopher. A loving family of in-laws, many cousins, aunts and uncles, and a great number of friends.
He will be greeted with open arms by his grandparents Gus and Shirley Demas, Robert Rosema, Skip, and a few childhood friends.
“In the end, it’s not the years of your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”
-Abraham Lincoln
