Pearl Ann Evelyn Morehouse

Pearl was born on March 30, 1940 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to parents Wilford O. Jensen and Marjorie E. Brownell. She was the second of four children. Pearl graduated from Granite High School in 1959. She married the love of her life Mark W. Morehouse in 1963. She lived in many places throughout her life including Wisconsin, Utah, California, Illinois, Kansas and Massachusetts, Settling in Salt Lake to finish raising her family and live out the remainder of her days surrounded by those she cherished. Pearl retired in 2017 from the Utah State Tax Commission where she made many dear friends. She had a love of crafting and enjoyed making specialty cakes and money rose arrangements which she gifted to her friends and family. Pearl loved roses and grew many varieties in her front garden where she also enjoyed watching hummingbirds come and go.

Pearl is preceded in death by her parents Wilford O & Marjorie E Jensen, one brother Wilford O. Jensen Jr. (Sonny), one grand daughter Wendy Sue Baker, and her husband Mark W. Morehouse.

She is survived by Siblings: Judy Summers, Jim (Pat) Jensen; Children: Tammy Baker, Shelly Morehouse, Donald Morehouse, Brian Morehouse, Mary (Lynn) Morehouse; Thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends whose lives Pearl has touched are welcome to attend the memorial service held on Saturday September 9, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT. A viewing will be held at 12:30 pm prior to the memorial service.
