He eventually came back to Salt Lake City where he continued the rest of his life with his wife Barbara Anderson and 6 children: Melissa (Robert), Julie (Kevin), Tonya (Mike), Kevan (Nicki), Shellie (Matt) and Randy Jr. He was "Papa" to 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren . He had 7 siblings: Amy, Val (Janet), Steve (whom is also his best friend), Rachell (Jon), Russ (Becca), and Tommy. He is preceded in death by his parents: Chell (Richard) Grow and Lynn (Sandy) Anderson; as well as his Grandparents: Hyrum (Dorothy) Anderson and Alfred (Alta) Labrum and many other loved ones.
Despite many challenges this last year he fought hard and was able to spend the last year of his life sober. We have never been so proud after many years of struggling. He had worked as a roofer, He loved golfing, fishing and had a passion for bowling and loved to brag how he could get a 300 point game, he loved driving his red truck that he had for so many years, he loved visiting and laughing with his grandchildren who all know him as "papa," he loved talking to his brother Steve regularly and was a big mama’s boy.
