Stanley Wilford Andreason

Stanley was born at home in Magna, Utah March 27, 1936, to Wilford Hyrum Andreason and Myrtle Daniels Andreason.

He married his sweetheart Diana Smith on November 23, 1955. They later were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity on December 5, 1956. He loved his wife and family with all his heart. They were the center of his life. Stan was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in his ward. Executive Secretary in the Bishopric, Young Men's organization, scouting program, and served in the Salt Lake Temple.

His love for hunting and fishing took him and his family camping to many places. He loved raising animals. Raising homing pigeons was a hobby that he also enjoyed. His gift for all things mechanical helped him fulfill many desires including building hot rods, and always helping family, friends and neighbors fix broken equipment.

Stanley is survived by his son, Stanley Joe (Kathy) Andreason, daughter Vickie (David) Adams, daughter Dixie (Jeff) Roberts, daughter Peggy (Paul) Hammond, daughter Sandra (Torey) Allred, 17 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Diana Smith Andreason, parents Wilford Hyrum and Myrtle Daniels Andreason, 1 brother Alvin R. Barker, 3 sisters Donna E. Barker Fowkes, Bonnie L. Andreason Stoddard, and Marie Andreason Chatterton.

We would like to thank with great appreciation the Hospice Medical Care. Especially the love and compassion of his special nurse Cassie, who went far beyond her duties.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 19, 2025, at 12:00 pm. at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South West Valley City, Utah, where friends may join the family at a viewing that morning from 10:45-11:45 am prior to the service. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
