Thayne was survived by his daughters, providing his whole heart and love to them. Ann (Bob), Doris, Barbara (Bill), Tammy. Also survived by his siblings Lora (John), Darold (Julie), Ruth, Beth, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
He experienced the world as a Navy UTD Diver, diesel mechanic, played on and under PT boats in Vietnam and Korea before anyone even knew Vietnam was a thing. He went on to retire from the Tooele Army Depot, to working at Glenmore Golf Course for 27 years.
Thayne was the brightest, wittiest man you could ever meet, sharp as a tack until the end at the age of 91. He only knew one speed in life 100 miles per hour. Although he traveled the world, he was happiest at home surrounded by his family.
His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. He is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
