Trevor was born on September 24,1991 in Torrance, California to Richard Tapia and Sherrie Brooks. He married the love of his life Alyssa Cheyenne Edwards on March 8, 2011.
Trevor was a gentle giant and had a generous heart. He was the type of person that would help anyone, give them the shirt off his back, or simply be a shoulder to cry on. He loved music and wrote songs that will forever be cherished by his family.
Trevor’s deepest love was the wonderful family that he created with Alyssa. They brought into this life four amazing kids that he loved sharing his interests with. Trevor loved watching anime, playing video games, and watching horror movies with them. Trevor was a wizard with computers and would take parts to build gaming PCs for his family. He became the family’s tech support and would help any time. He always provided great advice and direction.
Trevor had a silly and spontaneous side. His ability to be vulnerable and a goofball are some of the reasons why Alyssa loved him so deeply. They were a perfect match.
On Trevor’s Facebook bio he posted “Just being you is important. We all have a page in this story, live inside of it and embrace yours.” Brilliant words and something we all should remember. We are all important. We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support that we have received by so many families, friends, and neighbors.
Trevor is survived by his wife; Alyssa Tapia, and their four beautiful children; Aizik (13), Zayden (11), Aria (9), and Zyon (5). His father; Richard (Lara) Tapia, sister; Hailey (Taylor) Valerio sister; Ashley Tapia, brother; Michael Tapia, brother; Levi Daugherty and many loving extended family members.
