

Tyler David Nickel passed away on April 11, 2022. He was born on April 8, 1986, to William Paul Nickel and Teri Nickel in Salt Lake City, Utah. From Tyler’s two marriages came five beautiful children, Tripp William, Jeter Tyler, Davis Ellsworth, Rawlins Rae, and Madden David. Tyler’s children were his greatest joy and his life revolved around them. He never missed a ball game or a cheer practice. Tyler graduated from Hunter High School in 2004. Tyler had a successful career with Big O Tires where he was surrounded by friends, co-workers, and customers that adored him. Tyler loved sports and was a huge fan of the Utah Jazz, BYU Cougars, New York Yankees, and the Baltimore Ravens. If he wasn’t with his kids, you would find him watching sports or at the fights with his buddies.
Tyler is loved and adored by his family, and he loved spending time with them whether it be Sunday dinner at Mom and Dad’s or a trip to the lake. All of his nieces and nephews agree there was nothing like a hug from Uncle Tyler. One of Tyler’s greatest qualities was his sense of humor, and you could always count on him to cheer you up and make you laugh.
Tyler is survived by his children Tripp, Jeter, Davis, Rawlins, and Madden; his parents, his siblings Kellie (Justin), Cory (Ashley), Riley (Jenna), Chad (Dalainee), Kristie (JB), and many nieces and nephews who love him and look up to him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 19th at the Hunter Central Stake Center, 3930 South 6000 West, West Valley City at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing before from 9:30 to 10:30 A viewing will be held for friends and family from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, April 18th at Valley View Memorial, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City. Interment to follow services at Valley View Memorial Park.
