Vickie, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Lot's of love to you and your family.

Dear Family of VerNon Hansen,
 
I was surprised and saddened by the news on my dear friend, VerNon's passing.  We worked together at Cambridge Financial Center for 14 years.  He was a tireless worker, always doing more than what was expected.   VerNon is three years older than me.  We are both Granite Farmers, and due to the age difference we didn't know each other then.  But we did have many conversations about the school, people we both did know and teachers we both had.  I lived on 700 E and 4500 S before Van Winkle.  If I remember correctly , I think he lived on 900 E.  He knew the people we bought our house from.  Although we lived near each other our paths never crossed until much later in life.  It was very apparent that he loved the Savior and enjoyed his service in the kingdom.  He will be missed. My wife and I are in the Philippines on a temple mission.  If we were a little closer we would be at the viewing and funeral.  I would be very surprised if his funeral was not one about a graduation and celebration.  He had a great sense of humor and often brought copies of cartoons or jokes by my office.  My deepest condolences to your family.  Even though we know he is reunited with his dear wife, it is still difficult not to have him close by to visit with or pick up the phone and talk to.  Our prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I second the Oh Dad!!!!!! You are definitely happy with mom and your brother and sisters and mom and dad and everyone else who went on before you.  We will all miss you so very much and think about you all the time.  Love you

Oh dad!!! I know you are happy and celebrating with Mom and others. Thank you so much for all you did for us. For all the love and kindness you had. You were truly one of a kind. Your quick wit, your humor and jokes, your spoonerisms, your positive attitude and your unfailing love and commitment to our family will be missed deeply. But we will also celebrate and remember you always....and celebrate like we always have. Love you!!

We will never forget this sweet man. His always happy attitude, contagious smile & silly jokes. My children were always excited to see VerNon & loved his jokes & stories. VerNon uplifted spirits wherever he went. He will be greatly missed!

We sure missed you guys when you moved.  So happy for his reunion and yes we miss them but it does make it easier to know that we will see those we've lost again.  We just need to endure to the end.  Thoughts are with you guys while you deal with your loss.  Lots of love, Kristi Cameron Wilcox
