William Grady Weathers Jr, beloved Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, and son. William (Bill Jr) passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2025. He was born on March 14, 1947, in Dothan, Alabama to William Grady Weathers Sr and Tabbie Joyce Smith Weathers.
William grew up in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. He was very proud of his strong southern roots. He loved Panama City Beach, Florida and his memories of dirt bikes, bonfires, camping, fireworks, and sand crabs.
He graduated from Dothan High School in 1965. After High School he joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in Mountain Home, Idaho. While there he met the love of his life, Deanna Anderson. They married February 3, 1968 and were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on December 19, 1981. They celebrated 54 years together before her passing in 2023. Through this union they welcomed five beautiful children, four daughters: Shannon, Nicole, Kimberly and Ashley; and one son: Shane.
He was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. He also enjoyed being an ordinance worker at the Jordan River Temple.
William went through so many trials and tribulations in his life. The hardest of all was losing his Wife, Daughter, Son, and his Daddy. He missed them all so much but continued to remain strong for his family.
It is hard to say goodbye to such a loving Daddy, Papa, Brother, Son, and Friend that is loved so deeply.
We are sure going to miss him and his joking around personality.
He is survived by his Children: Shannon (John), Kimberly, Ashley (Adam); twelve Grandchildren: Cortney, Cody, Colton (Zaydi), Cailey, Bailey, Caitlyn, Clayton, McKenzie, Brittney, Addison, Cayson, Caden; one Great Grandchild: Livvy; Mother: Tabbie; Sisters: Jeri and Martha; and his four-legged companion, Zeke, that never left his side.
He is preceded in death by his Wife: Deanna; Daughter: Nicole; Son: Shane; Daddy: Grady; and his four-legged best friend, Rocky.
This is not goodbye, this is “See you later, Daddy.” We are sending you a big hug and kiss. Please let us know that you made it home ok so we don’t worry, until we can be with you again. We love you so much.
