Alisa Marie Quinata

On July 31, 2021, Alisa Marie Quinata of Westminster, California passed away in her sleep at Orange Coast Memorial in Fountain Valley, California. It is with great sorrow that we announce her battle with cancer ended at the tender age of 46.

Alisa was born in Westminster, California to Steve Ortegon and Guadalupe Ortega on August 2, 1974. She married the love of her life and best friend, Joey Quinata on April 22, 1995. Together they raised three children and happily embraced the joys of being grandparents to two beautiful little girls. Alisa will forever be remembered for her contagious laugh and undeniable personality. Her capacity to love knew no bounds. Her tenacity to keep pushing forward, even in the darkest of times, demonstrated the strength and will Alisa had to live. More importantly, the desire to be there for her family. Words cannot express how incredible Alisa was, nor do they truly tell you how she wanted only the best for those around her, no matter who they were. Those who sincerely knew Alisa know the kind, compassionate and genuine woman she was.

Alisa is preceded in death by her mother Guadalupe Ortega and grandmother Hope Ortegon.

Alisa is survived by her husband; Joey Quinata, her children; Joseph and Lizette, Michael and Karen, Kiana and Sergio, her granddaughters; Jacquelyn Judy and Kehlani Soul, her father; Steve and stepmother Anita, her brother; Danny and his wife Elvira and nephew Ezra Luke.

A visitation for Alisa will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14146 Olive St., Westminster, CA 92683. Alisa will be cremated and return home with her husband, Joey Quinata.
