

Born to Leo and Sarah Cutright on September 27, 1956, in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was the oldest of two children. He graduated from Hutsonville High School in 1974 and went on to enlist in the United States Navy where he served 23 years active duty and retired in 1997 as a Avionics Technician Senior Chief (ATCS). During that period he received the South West Asia Service Metal for his participation in the Vietnam war as well as the Kuwait Liberation Metal for his service during Desert Storm. After his discharge, he continued to work for the Navy as a civil service training instructor.
He is survived by his Mother Sarah Cutright, his Daughter Ann Polkinghorn, his Son-In-Law Josh Polkinghorn, his Grand Son Nolan Polkinghorn, and his Sister Dixie Cutright. Preceded in death by his Father Leo (Bud) Cutright, his paternal Grandparents Leo and Laura Cutright, and his maternal Grandparents Fred and Helen Winters.
Services will be held with Military Honors at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma California on Monday December 12th, 2011 at 1330.
