David was one of the smartest individual I know and whom I've had the pleasure to work with.  I was sadden to hear the news of his passing but I know all the angels are shouting for joy!! David had a BIG presence and his sense of humor was what captivated people.  He was the biggest kid at heart.  My fondest memories (and there are several) is when he would sneak up behind me, touch my shoulders and say,"you got kudies", and then immediately would say with a gesture, "SHIELDS UP".  I think he actually believed that worked.
Thanks for the all the laughs David. My condolences to the Schott Family.

David, you will be dearly missed.  You brought joy to me and everyone at CCSU.  There are so many great memories, especially the time you taught Matthew at the young age of two, to pick his nose and laugh hysterically at the same time.  Thank you for that!!!!  Love you my friend, Debbie

David, wish you were still here and got that transplant you so badly needed, however God has other plans for you.  You will truly be missed and I will also miss our lunches at TGI Friday with you having the Pecan Crusted Salad with "cold" chicken.  That was our last lunch we shared together.  What a wonderful person and great colleague.  So fortunate that our paths crossed some 15 or so years ago.  Rest in Peace my Friend and fly with the Angels.

David, it was a true pleasure to know you and work with you. You will be greatly missed and leave big shoes to fill. Miss you my friend.

For my Cousin David... 

 God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be.
 He wrapped him in his loving arms and whispered Come with me.'
He suffered much in silence, his spirit did not bend.
 He faced his pain with courage, until the very end.
 He tried so hard to stay with us but his fight was not in vain,
 God took him to His loving home and freed him from the pain.

We all miss the get togethers at the house. Your presence was ALWAYS known for you truly enjoyed being in the middle of it all. I miss the way you would get your mother worked up and to put up a good arguement to anybody, but with humor.  You will be missed David.
