I wish I could remember better we gathered in garage for kind of comedy show. we were surprised Dav was so funny we laughed and we thought he should become a comedian.  He was quiet special guy Dav will always be missed. Its hard to believe he is gone but forever be in our heart. miss you Dav and love always.

Dear David, 
It has been hard coming to terms and I still struggle. I had a son last year and for some reason I can't get over the feeling of wanting you to meet him. Today I am remembering the day we were at your mom's house in highchool and you taught me how to play the simplest chords on the bass (slow ride, take it easy in G) but you were so proud and uplifting about it I suddenly felt like I could play any instrument I wanted (I suck at playing music but you assured me I could do it). You were always full of so much cool knowledge to share and never tried to keep it to yourself. You were a great teacher and you continue to teach me many things. I love you!

Today I am remembering with love how Davey appreciated nature.  Several times we were on a hike or nature walk and he wore his vest with many pockets, had his binoculars hanging from his neck, and was carrying his sketchbook.  I can still see him walking in the poppy field and in the canyon near our family home, sitting on an oak branch drawing whatever caught his eye.  I feel you surrounding us with love, dear Davey!

Dearest Davey;  My heart aches as I think of you each day and how you are no longer with us physically.  But my memory today as I left flowers at your memorial bench at Goleta Beach brings me great joy.  It is of a day when I went with you and your family to El Capitan State Beach.  It was a perfect warm day, and we walked to a little cove that was empty of other visitors.  The water was warm, and as Sam and her mom and dad waded into it, I noticed that you were hesitating.  But soon, with a little coaxing, you took your shoes off and waded in.  With a smile on your face, soon you were jumping through the waves, and I was so happy to see you having a good time!  I know you are in the gentle care of your dad, and send my love always.

Dearest Davey;  I think of you daily, with a heart full of love.  Your sweet spirit lives on in all of us.  I felt you near as I took flowers and sat on your memorial bench at Goleta Beach today.  It is near the kid's playground, for anyone who would like to visit.  Sending love to friends and family today and always.

Dear Davey, I remember how excited you were to help make wonderful lunches for us!  Sweetie, I love you so much.


Dear David, when your mom asked me for pictures of you from Lucas party I had to tell her you were a sneaky ninja because you kept escaping my camera. You're so funny. Thank you for sharing your love with us, especially my kids. They truly miss you. Thank you for the last cumbia too. I will cherish that memory. We love you mijo. Love Sianez VI

David, we wish we could have had a chance to get to know you. I see a lot of your mom in your face and knowing her means there was a lot of love in you!! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those you left behind. May God comfort them and heal their pain.

Dearest Davey;  A cherished memory is from the blooming poppy fields, as you were a young boy wearing your explorer hat and vest  with many pockets and your binoculars.  Very prepared and ready for a wonderful day with family!
