Dorothy Jean Kirby

Dorothy Jean (Rosenlof) Kirby passed away on August 30, 2020 at her home in Vancouver, Washington. She was born on September 28, 1932 in Cedar City, Utah to Keith Abner Rosenlof and Laura Elverda (Jolley) Rosenlof. She was the older sister to Robert Keith and Melvin Reed.

She grew up in Cedar City and Ogden, Utah. She raised her family in Long Beach, California before moving to Arizona with her husband Harold. They retired to Vancouver, Washington.

Dorothy had a love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, her home, and her dear friends. She will always be remembered for the special gifts she enjoyed sending to her loved ones. She also took great pleaser in gardening, and completing genealogy work for her family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Harold Lee Kirby who passed away in April 2015. She is survived by her three children, Kathy Jean Creager, Sandra Lee (Creager) and James Thompson, and James Scott and Maria Creager. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was an active member of the Church of Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Cascade Park Ward in Vancouver, Washington. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1100 am at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA, 92683.
