Since she was three years old she always dreamed of being a "Wow-Wow Driver" and worked for AMR ambulance service as an intermediate medic here in Las Cruces, a job she loved. At the time of her death she was the Director of Informatics Technology at Southwest Heart PC, Las Cruces, N.M. Emily was the light of our family. She always made you laugh, even if you didn't want to. She was quick to remind you of why she never exercised or was good at sports, "I have the lung capacity of a two year old!" Emily was kind, generous, and loving. She was brilliant with computers and technology, yet her heart was caring for others. She loved health care and assisting with the patients at Southwest Heart. She was preparing to apply for Physicians Assistant schools after she helped get the electronic medical records systems up and running. She put her life on hold to help her family. Something that was always normal for her to do. She was an amazing young woman who will be missed yet never forgotten. Don't think of her as gone away her journey's just begun, life holds so many facets-this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched....for nothing loved is ever lost-and she was loved so much. -E. Breannaman. In liew of flowers family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House. Arrangements under the direction of Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster, California 92683.
