Ernestine Arias Adams

At 22 years old, Ernestine came to the United States with courage,

determination, and a dream of building a better life. She didn’t just

create opportunities for herself—she helped her siblings come to this country too, always putting her family first and making sure no one was left behind. She spent a short time in Los Angeles County before settling in Orange County, where she built her life and her home.

Ernestine was the heart of her family—the one everyone looked to for strength, love, and guidance. She had a fighting spirit and a deep belief in working hard, staying strong, and taking care of the people you love.

She is survived by her partner of 30 years, Oscar—the love of her life and her protector—along with her two sons— Vernon Adams (wife Laura and daughter Makena) and Bud Adams (wife Erica, their sons Benjamin and Zachary and his wife Caroline and their son Miles).

She was one of five siblings: Vicente, Alberto, Asela, Alejandrina, and Jorge. She had a special bond with her many nieces and nephews—Rodolfo, Nora, Adriana, Vicente, Jesús, Guadalupe, Erika, Julian, John, Jorge, Daisy, Adilene, and Iván—as well as her great nephews Julian, Miguelito, and Erik.

She dedicated many years of her early life caring for children at the

nursery for the church of the Nazarene in Midway City then continued serving for several years working for the Westminster School District. She went on to work as an assembly worker in the medical industry retiring after 20 years. She was incredibly dedicated—never missing a day of work.

She loved the simple things—watching her novelas, listening to Spanish music, dancing and being with family. She always dreamed of visiting Acapulco one day with Oscar, and it brings comfort to imagine her now at peace, walking along beautiful beaches.

Ernestine will be honored with a Visitation at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, US, on April 22, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, US, on April 23, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by a Committal Service at Westminster Memorial Park & Mortuary, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, US, on April 23, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

Ernestine Arias Adams, de 84 años, de Stanton, California, falleció el Viernes Santo, 3 de abril de 2026. Nació el 17 de mayo de 1941 en Quimichis, Nayarit, México.

A los 22 años, Ernestine llegó a los Estados Unidos con valentía, determinación y el sueño de construir una vida mejor. No solo creó oportunidades para sí misma, sino que también ayudó a sus hermanos a venir a este país, siempre poniendo a su familia primero y asegurándose de que nadie se quedara atrás. Pasó un corto tiempo en el Condado de Los Ángeles antes de establecerse en el Condado de Orange, donde construyó su vida y su hogar.

Ernestine fue el corazón de su familia: la persona a quien todos acudían en busca de fortaleza, amor y guía. Tenía un espíritu luchador y una profunda creencia en trabajar duro, mantenerse fuerte y cuidar a las personas que amas.

Le sobreviven su pareja de 30 años, Oscar —el amor de su vida y su protector—, junto con sus dos hijos: Vernon Adams (su esposa Laura y su hija Makena) y Bud Adams (su esposa Erica, sus hijos Benjamin y Zachary, y Zachary con su esposa Caroline y su hijo Miles).

Fue una de cinco hermanos: Vicente, Alberto, Asela, Alejandrina y Jorge. Tenía un vínculo especial con sus numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas: Rodolfo, Nora, Adriana, Vicente, Jesús, Guadalupe, Erika, Julian, John, Jorge, Daisy, Adilene e Iván, así como con sus sobrinos nietos Julian, Miguelito y Erik.

Dedicó muchos años de su vida temprana al cuidado de niños en la guardería de la iglesia del Nazareno en Midway City, y luego continuó sirviendo durante varios años trabajando para el Distrito Escolar de Westminster. Posteriormente trabajó como operaria de ensamblaje en la industria médica, jubilándose después de 20 años. Fue increíblemente dedicada, nunca faltando un solo día de trabajo.

Le gustaban las cosas sencillas: ver sus novelas, escuchar música en español, bailar y estar con su familia. Siempre soñó con visitar Acapulco algún día con Oscar, y reconforta imaginarla ahora en paz, caminando por hermosas playas.

Ernestine será velada en Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, Estados Unidos, el 22 de abril de 2026, de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo en el mismo lugar el 23 de abril de 2026, de 9:30 a.m. a 10:30 a.m., seguido por el servicio de sepelio de 10:30 a.m. a 11:30 a.m.
