Gregory Gene Creyaufmiller

March 31, 1957 – November 14, 2021

Gregory Gene Creyaufmiller, age 64, of Huntington Beach, California passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Greg was born on March 31, 1957 in Hollis, New York to Gene and Ingrid Creyaufmiller (both deceased). The oldest of five children, Greg graduated from Newcomerstown High School (Ohio) in 1975 and attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, majoring in engineering. He enlisted in the United States Air Force serving his country around the world. He later settled in Huntington Beach, California with the love of his life, Kim, and later welcomed their beloved daughter, Heather.

Greg loved baseball and was a lifelong Yankees fan, traveling across the country on numerous occasions to watch his favorite team play. Greg also loved music, played the guitar, collected vintage toys and wrote poetry. But more than anything else Greg loved his family and friends. He was always there when you needed a hand or just a smile; and always made it a point to check in, not only with his brother and sisters, but also his uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; he never missed a play, recital or ball game that they were in. He was the bright light to whom the family always flocked and while his light here on earth has been extinguished his memory will forever burn brightly in the hearts of everyone his life has touched.

Greg is survived by his wife, Kim Storrer Creyaufmiller, his daughter, Heather Creyaufmiller, his parents-in-law, Lew and Jackie Storrer, his sister-in-law, Kellie Stone and her husband, Don Stone, his brother, Timothy Creyaufmiller and his wife, Diane Cordova Creyaufmiller, his sisters, Wendy Creyaufmiller, Sherry Creyaufmiller, and Laury Creyaufmiller, his nieces, Michele, Jessica, Nicole and Brittany, his nephews, Gary Gene, Nathan, Mason and Joseph and his beloved ferrets, Spanky, Alfalfa, Buckwheat and Porky. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gene John and Ingrid (Stolle) Creyaufmiller.

Services are Monday, November 22, 2021 at 2:30pm with graveside to follow.
