Guadalupe (Lupe) Ybarra, 92, of Westminster, CA, passed away on November 5, 2025. Lupe was born on July 8, 1933, in Kansas. He moved to Westminster at the age of three, where he grew up and built a life surrounded by family and friends.
He worked as a Carpet Manufacturing Manager and was known for his sense of humor, hard work, and love of baseball caps. In his free time, he enjoyed watching wrestling, Marvel and DC movies, and having a beer with family and friends.
Lupe is survived by 8 children, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, and was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Loretta Ybarra. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 1st, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Westminster Memorial in the Lakeside Chapel (14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster). The service will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd, at 11:30 am -12:30pm, also at Westminster Memorial in the Lakeside Chapel. Burial will follow at 1 p.m.
