Homer Littlejohn, Jr. was born on September 10, 1923 in Brazil, Indiana.
Homer was in the Army/Air-Force from 1943 to 1946 and participated in the “D-Day Invasion” on June 6, 1944. As a member of the 399th Infantry, Homer fought his way on foot from town to town all the way to Stuttgart, Germany.
Homer married his first wife, “Toni,” in 1946 and had two sons: Jim and Danny. Homer moved to California in 1952, becoming a Master Machinist.
Homer’s wife, Toni, passed away in 1981, and soon thereafter, Homer retired in Fountain Valley to be close to his sons.
In 1995, Homer married his second wife Marilyn, and moved back to Indiana, where he was close to his siblings.
Homer was a humble, strong man of few words and was always thinking. He was a reserved, pleasant, polite, respectful, strong willed, independent man of integrity and trust.
Homer will be deeply missed.
