

She is joining her husband of 55 years, Robert Arthur Tuttle, Sr. of Long Beach, CA, who passed away on Tuesday, May 5th, 2008.
Jean was born February 28, 1921 in San Bernardino, CA. She was the daughter of Alfred Noble Reese and Harriet Elizabeth Reese (nee Riggs), and sister to Andrew Riggs Reese. She survived the 1933 magnitude 6.4 Long Beach earthquake, graduate of Wilson High School, supporter of military aviation units during World War II at the Long Beach Airport (Daugherty Field), and later worked at Koopman's Travel in Bellflower, CA, before becoming a home-maker.
"Bob" was born July 8, 1923, in Corbin, KY. He was one of seven children of Emery Lee Tuttle and Edna Tuttle (nee Elliot). He is a W.W.II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy retiring as a Master Chief. He then changed careers and retired from Hadley Auto Transport where he delivered new automobiles to dealerships.
Bob and Jean were married in 1953 and settled in Long Beach, CA to raise their family.
They were both active members of Truett Memorial S. Baptist Church in Long Beach, CA where they participated in many church activities, such as: Sunday School teacher, Choir, Sound & Lighting, weekly church dinners, and delivering donations to local food banks.
Bob and Jean are interred side-by-side at the Westminster Memorial Park Cemetery.
