Joe mi amor, Le doy gracias a Dios por los 59 años y 8 messes. Que no’s permitio disfrutar de la vida. Juntos disfrutamos de grande heremosos y felices momentos. Nos  gozamos, nos reimos y aveses lloramos. Pero juntos astd tus  ultimos momentos. Dios fue nuestra fuerzo y fortalezo y asi pedimos complir con lo nos prometimos en el alfar cuando nos  casamos. Fuiste un excelente  esposo, amigo, y consejero.

Jose Cuellar was my father. What I will miss most is our discussions on science, politics, family and other topics of interest.  My dad had a very straight forward way of thinking about things. Things got fun when we disagreed.  Our best conversations dealt with women. Let’s just say we really had differences of opinion.I loved these talks. I will miss my dad, Love you always!

Esto es algo lindo para recordar de como disfrutaron completamente la vida, una vida llena de bendiciones sabiendo que el Señor era el que los guiaba a travez de diferentes circunstancias, aunque no todas fueron momentos de alegria, nuestro Padre celestial nunca los dejo de su mano y cuando pasaron por el fuego  la llama no los quemo, y por los rios no los anego,

My first and truest love, my Papi. Our song was “Wild Thing” by The Troggs. He’d look at me and growl, “wiiiild thing!” and I’d complete, “you make me heart sing!” I have so much gratitude and praise for the connection we shared. It was a love so pure I can feel it beyond his lifetime. I miss him greatly, but his strength and wisdom gives me comfort until we can talk again in Heaven. 

I would like to take this moment to thank God for giving me the amazing opportunity of meeting this amazing man. I strongly believe he is in heaven next to his son. I meet Joe when I was 7 year old and I called him “abuelito Joe” and he nickname me his “two-timmer” hahahaha. I would run to the water store to get him is favorite yogurt and peanuts snack pack and I would be running from one corner to the other to get them very fast for him. I would never forget those long conversation that would be all day long, sharing his amazing stories of the early years and all his adventures. I will never forget all the business tips and the amazing support you offer me and my family. I will never forget every single lifetime advice and I would like to share two that will always be in my heart and head “family is always first and when you get married your husband and kids become your family and priority” also for the business “business is business people will always talk you do you”. Thank you for showing me so much and believing on me. Abuelito Joe thank you for your support and love, I will never forget ever single word of advice and every single dirty jokes that maybe took me years later to totally understand. Hahaha please say hello to dude and tell him I miss him very much and will be eternity thankful for every single opportunity I was giving and meeting you 2 was completely amazing. Rest In Peace Abuelito Joe. 

Those who knew my grandfather knew an exceptional man. I was very lucky to spend the majority of my life being raised under my grandparents' roof. Both he and my grandma provided a home full of unconditional love and support. He'd be the first to tell me how proud he was of me and would often tell me, "Mijo, I loved you before you were even born." He was present for every milestone and supported me in every endeavor I ever pursued, even when I thought I could make a living as a door-to-door salesman selling Cutco knives right out of high school.  When that didn't work out, he later admitted, "I knew that wasn't going to work, but I had to let you make your own mistakes." That was him, always trying to teach life lessons. I certainly didn't appreciate those lessons enough when I was younger, but as I grew older, I cherished them, and they've made me the man I am today. I'll miss those long conversations with him where no topic was off-limits, but I take solace in the fact that he's finally where he's always wanted to be... in heaven with the Lord, probably cracking dirty jokes and laughing with Dude. I love you forever, Pops, and I hope I get to see you again on the other side.   

Beloved Tio Roberto. You will be missed by all of your nieces and nephews from your brother Regino. When we think of you as children growing up, you were the “hip” and “cool” uncle with the groovy van! To this day we comment that no one has ever tied a shoe lace as fast as you. Lightening speed! One of the things that we always admired about you was your positive outlook. Whenever someone asked you how you were feeling, even after you became ill, the response would be “I feel like a million bucks!” We hope to have the same positivity in our lives in the years to come. ❤️

I will always remember my Tio as an outgoing happy person I fondly remember him working at shoeteria in Norwalk when I was a little boy. And let me just say when he sold a pair of shoes he made you feel special he would model the shoe lace it up for you and check the toe for accurate size by far the best shoe salesman that I ever will know my Tio Roberto will truly be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing such a wonderful man😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏

Ray and I, are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of your dad and would like to express our grief and heartfelt condolences for your loss. 

In this time of sorrow, we pray that you and the rest of the Cuellar  family will find strength, warmth and comfort in each other. May your hearts be filled with serenity and peace from our Heavenly Father and Creator and hope that you see your dad on that bright and joyful resurrection day.

We may not be there to personally convey our sympathies but know that in our hearts, we will always keep you and your family in our prayers.

My father-in-law loved his grandkids.  He said he loved them the same as his own children.  He said that when I had Aaron he was beyond ecstatic because he didn't think we were having more children.  He said that his Bear was the icing on the cake.  

I was blessed to call this man my father. His love and guidance was absolutely a driving force in the development of my life. Like most kids, it took me getting a little older and maturity to understand that everything he did for me, he did because he loved me unconditionally (spankings included). He wanted me to be the best person I could be. That just made me appreciate him more. Thank you, Pop, for your words of wisdom, encouragement, teachings and always being in my corner. I love you.

My deepest condolences to the Cuellar Family. Joe was very special. He touched so many people and had a very full life. I will always remember him and his stories. Joe will be missed by all who knew him.

Although many knew him as Joe, for me he was my Tio Roberto. Being Tio’s first and eldest niece, I witnessed his development from an ambitious young man to a wise and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Tío Roberto’s eagerness to share words of wisdom never failed; he loved discussing family, faith and politics with me. He loved his family unconditionally always ready to share his grandkids’ latest accomplishments. At the end of his life, he taught me how a true warrior faces a devastating illness. He never complained nor did he feel sorry for himself. Instead he lived life with enthusiasm and happiness; he bravely fought the ultimate battle never fearing death. Tío Roberto loved me very much and I reciprocated with all my love and respect. Thank you, Tio, for loving me and being a wonderful uncle. I will love you and miss you all the days of my life.  

Our most sincere condolences to all the family ..we will always remember Tio Roberto with much love. He had the greatest love for all his family and we loved listening to all his life stories. En paz goze .....Tio! 

When we were kids, Dad always called for a family pow wow on occasion. We all rolled our eyes but now I realize that these were times that my Dad wanted to have some of his “words of wisdom” stick!!! There are so many things that “STUCK” to me. Two of the the most important was….,  “Family is the most important thing” Another was “Everyone you meet in your life is important. They will teach you something. Maybe they’ll teach you that they led a bad life & you don’t want that or they found a good life & you want to follow that. You can always learn from someone’s life. 

Tio, I'm going to miss you.  You impacted my life more than you ever will know.  Praise Jesus.
