Born on June 6, 1933, in Porterville, California, Ken later resided in Compton, Lakewood, and
finally Huntington Beach, California, for some 60 years (1963-present).
He was a loving husband to his wife, Sue, and a devoted father to Barry, Jeff, Randy, Pam,
Diane, Eileen, Bill, and Dave. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Amber, Jennifer, James,
Jonathan, Stacey, Nolan, Weston, Kaylee, Blake(s), Kailei, Michael, Kevin, Amanda, Shannon,
Ryan, Carmel, and Lauryn.
Ken's journey also included a special time when married with Marjorie, the mother of Barry, Jeff,
Randy and Pam and they have always remained close friends.
Ken had a long career in the aerospace industry as a graphic designer and technical
illustrations manager. He was involved with the Gemini, Apollo, Shuttle Orbiter, Star Wars
Defense Initiative, Space Station, and many other aerospace-related programs at North
American Rockwell.
He was passionate about Art, flying (a licensed pilot for a short amount of time) he enjoyed
modern auto designs, restoration of his vintage autos and educating himself through popular
mechanics, home projects,woodworking, his genealogy project updates, also his outstanding
MacGyver skills in repairing and or upgrading around the home and doing anything were
unmatched.
He was a kind, humble and always a helpful man who loved all and always put others before
himself, just as our Lord and Savior asks in John 13:34 “I give you a new command: Love one
another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another.
He will be so deeply missed by his entire family and a life of great friends.
