Today is Avery’s birthday and only 546 days  since I was forced to say goodbye to you.

I thank God for you and my dreams because I miss and love you more than ever , sister.

To me, it seems only a minute, not a year.  I have not one memory, but a million or more.  Those are all memories you gave to me.  You gave so much to me and others and I’m so grateful to you.  I love you, my dear sister.

Here it is the 2nd of December.  I’m going to hold it together this month, Peggy.  

Peggy and I were cousins and we became closer to each other as adults. I will always treasure our friendship and love. I will miss her but she will live in my heart forever. 

Now it’s been two months.  I want you to know I voted just like you would have wanted me to.

The Longest Time, I’ve gone without you to talk to.

Peggy was one of my very first friends. When we met I was around 3 or 4 years old and she was a few years older. We lived just down the road from each other  in a semi-rural area of a citrus town and had many fun days playing cowboys and other outdoor games. We lived on the same street for all of our growing up years, but eventually went our separate ways. I rarely saw Peggy after we both left home but I have never forgotten how much I loved the years that we shared.  I know that she will be dearly missed and I offer my deepest condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Peggy’s passing. She was a colleague at the CA School for the Deaf. She was kind and welcoming, and she was an excellent role model for me as a new teacher. We became good friends and stayed in touch through the years since then. She will be missed by all who her. 

Peggy's sweet, kind and compassionate spirit will truly be missed.
