Mark Harold Hanson

Mark Harold Hanson, Born 14 Oct 1953 to Harold S. & Julane M. (Moxness) Hanson at Centinela Valley Hospital in Inglewood, California. He passed away on 25 Feb 2023, at 69 years of age.

He was baptized on 13 Dec 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hawthorne, CA. Mark began his elementary education at Trinity Lutheran School and completed it at Kennedy High School in La Palma, CA. After high school, Mark attended California Lutheran Bible School in Los Angeles, for two years, finishing his education with a BS in Business and a Minor in Music at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas.

His first Job was at Credit Managers Assn in Los Angeles, CA. He retired from working at 3 Day Blinds in Anaheim CA working the night shift setting up orders for manufacturing the next morning on his computer.

Mark began his life with his family in Hawthorne California. In 1966, the family moved to La Palma, CA.

When his parents retired and moved to Gardnerville NV, he moved to Buena Park, CA. He last lived in Garden Grove, CA before finishing his time on earth at the West Anaheim Care Center in Anaheim, CA.

Mark enjoyed traveling and really looked forward to visiting his relatives in South Dakota. In his teen-age years, he enjoyed camping and backpacking with his family. He liked to play piano, was always interested in the weather forecast, amazingly good at remembering numbers and traveling on or watching trains.

Mark was burdened with Diabetes during the last part of his life.

He had a leg amputated above the knee and had to be on dialysis for a few hours, 3 days a week. With all his infirmities, he always had a positive outlook on life.

Mark is survived by his father, Harold S. Hanson of Gardnerville, Nevada and his two Sisters, Jill C. (Hanson) Larsen of Gardnerville, Nevada; Meri L. (Hanson) Rider of Fairfield, CA and 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
