On August 21, 1934 Mary Jo was born to John and Frances Mullican. She had three sisters and one brother. On November 1, 1952 she married William Norwood and gave birth to a son Skip in 1953. The family relocated to Orange County, California in the mid 1950's. Mary Jo went on to have three more children, Randy, Jan and Shannon. She became a widow in 1978 but continued in a successful career as a retail clerk for Safeway and Vons until retirement. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and was known for her generous, caring personality. Mary Jo will be deeply missed by all. She passed away on August 16, 2010 in Garden Grove, California. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 21, 2010 at 2:30 pm in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel.
