Pearline Young

Pearline Young, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Garden Grove, California on October 23, 2012. A viewing will be held at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary from 5-8 pm on November 1st with a funeral service to follow Friday morning at 9:30am. She will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.

Pearline was born June 13, 1933. She was one of 8 children to Charles and Pearl Jones. She was a loving sister to Ida, Charles(deceased), Wanda, Shirley, Mary, Richard(deceased) and Frankie. She grew up in Arkansas and later married her best friend, Edman Young. They were blessed with two children, Allen and Daniel Young. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She had many interests including sewing, baking and gardening. She used these interests as well as her unending hospitality to brighten the lives of everyone who entered her door. An avid card- player, she was often to be found in the company of others sharing in a game of solitaire over a cup of coffee, or playing Yahtzee with her children or grandchildren. Her unbounded compassion, love and spirit will be missed from this world, but we shall attempt to carry it with us always.
