Rafael Rivera aka Ralph Rivera, born October 9, 1942 to Nicholas Rivera and Lydia Rivera in Puerto Rico. He is survived by 7 children, 17 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 2 brothers. Ralph is a graduate from Santa Ana High School, 1960. He is retired from carpenter union local 1815, and retired from the US Army. In the US Army, he served as a crew chief on the Huey helicopters. He had a love of flying. Ralph served in the National Guards, F-Troop, 118th Air Calvary. “If you ain’t Cav, you ain’t shit”.
Ralph loved life, family, friends, music and his daily donut. At family gatherings, he is remembered always the one at the grill Bar-B - Queing with a Natural Lite in his hand. You will be greatly missed Pops!
A visitation will take place at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary in the Carolina Chapel on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Service's on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 12:00pm in the Main Chapel at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary. Graveside Service to follow.
