

Robert Arence Sanderson was born on December 30, 1926, in Madisonville, Tennessee to Fred Killian Sanderson and Carrier Moser Sanderson. He passed away on June 3, 2022, in Fountain Valley, California.
He is survived by his Daughter and Son-in-law: Patricia and Mel Hitchcock, grandson: Michael Hitchcock, Grand-daughter: Michelle Mason, Great grand-daughter: Kaylie Mason and Adopted Niece: Peggy Hitchcock
Robert is predeceased by his wife of 73 years, Margaret Lee Coppinger Sanderson.
He served in the United States Army for 25 years and 3 months. Served in World War II 1944-1946, Wonsan Korean War 1952, and Korea again in 1965-1966. Worked at Explorer Motorhome as Shop Manager after being discharged from the Army.
Later in life created Bob's Motorhome and Mobile Home Repair business.
Each morning until his body would not allow him to do so, Robert would raise the United States flag in his front yard. He was very proud to be an American and proud of his Country.
He was loved by his family for his kind heart, his willingness to help no matter what and his ability to make people laugh when they needed a lift. He will be tremendously missed. We will always have him in our hearts.
A final blessing and interment for Robert will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 2:15 PM at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683.
