

Scarlet Christiano, born on October 6, 1961, in Blue Island, Illinois, passed away on October 30, 2025. She spent most of her life in Southern California and graduated from Westminster High School in Westminster, CA. Scarlet shared her life with her devoted partner, Kevin McCarthy, and together they built a loving family rooted in care, commitment, and resilience.
Scarlet worked in home health care, a profession that perfectly reflected her compassionate spirit. She cared deeply for others, offering kindness, patience, and understanding to those who needed it most.
She was the proud mother of three children, and her life was filled with the music, memories, and moments she cherished. Songs by Fleetwood Mac, scenes from Jaws and Gone With the Wind, and the timeless sound of Heart were touchstones of her life—memories that will forever be tied to her vibrant presence. Scarlet loved gardening, music, and crafting, but above all, she loved her family. She poured her heart into everything she did, creating a home filled with warmth and unwavering support.
Those who knew Scarlet describe her as strong, loyal, honest, and selfless—a woman who gave endlessly without hesitation and loved without limits.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Marion Christiano; her uncle, Marvin Otte; her brothers, Larry Christiano, Rick Christiano, and George Christiano; her sister, Mary Anne Foulers; and her brother-in-law, Robert Eoelkes.
Scarlet is survived by her partner, Kevin McCarthy; her sons, Steven Christiano and Kevin McCarthy; and her daughter, Jacqueline McCarthy. Her legacy of love, faithfulness, and resilience will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
