October 25, 1992 – January 21, 2026
Tana Ray Lam was born on October 25, 1992, to Jackie and Di Lucas in Needles, California. She graduated from Needles High School in 2010 and soon after moved to Orange County, where she built a career as an office and account organization specialist.
In 2016, while working at Alliance Funding Group, Tana met Bao Chi Lam, the love of her life. The two married in 2021 in Laughlin, Nevada, beginning a partnership filled with devotion, laughter, and deep companionship.
Tana’s passions brought color and joy to her life. She loved cooking and music, and she adored her dogs—Gertrude, Dick, and Max—who were constant sources of comfort and happiness. She also enjoyed a spirited game of paintball and was an avid runner, embracing activity and adventure with enthusiasm.
Tana and Bao made their home in Garden Grove, but Needles always held a special place in her heart. No matter where life took her, she considered it her true home.
She is survived by her husband, Bao; her parents, Jackie and Di; and her brother, James Dean Lucas. She is also survived by her mother‑in‑law, Van Thu Hang, and her brother‑in‑law, Hao Chi Lam. Tana was cherished by many Aunts, Uncles, and her nieces and nephews lovingly called her the “fun aunt,” a title she wore with pride and joy.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, and the love she shared so generously with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Cremation will be at Westminster Memorial Park on February 6th at noon with a celebration of life to follow.
She will be brought back home to Needles where her memorial service will be held
