

Mary was predeceased by her husband, George Louis Maas; parents, Kristjan and Royal Bjarnason; infant son, Kristjan Joseph Maas; infant granddaughter, Amanda Rose Maas; siblings, Ernest “Ernie”, Agusta “Gus”, Gerald, Rae, Logan, Irwin, Lina Ivan and Ruby Taylor.
Left with a lifetime of cherished memories, Mary’s family, daughter, Colleen (Randy) Benjamin and family, Rhiannon Benjamin, Bryn (Anthony) Kopec & Dayton and Grayson; daughter, Geraldine (Dale) Ruckaber and family, Trista Ruckaber (Jason Yee) and Travis Ruckaber; son, Marlin (Susan) Maas and family, Christopher (Jess) Maas & Bria; Meaghan Maas (Kelly Glowatski) & Judah and Wrenn; daughter, Teresa (Robert) Connelly and family, Cal Connelly (Brittany Tuck) & family, Dylann and Gauge, Cyndi Connelly & family, Kyler and Ryker; son, Brian Maas (Joanne Johnson) and family, Zack Maas (Heather Statz) & Vaida, Rykr and Sebastian, Dylan Maas (Kathryn Bailey) & Grace, Olivia and Violet; daughter, Wendy (Marcel) LaRochelle and family, Adrienne (Chris) Young; son, Wesley (Donnita) Maas and family, Brendon (Amanda) Maas & Owen and Brody, Jordan (Jesse) Watson & Cooper and Sawyer; sisters, Anne Huber and Inga Hill as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Knox Fellowship Hall, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Carmella Backlun officiating. For those unable to attend the service in person, a livestream/recording of the service will available at Mary’s Memorial site at the Fletcher Funeral Chapel Website.
A Private Family Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Pallbearers will be all of Mary's grandsons and Honourary Pallbearers will be all of Mary's granddaughters. Jordan Watson will give the eulogy.
Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Wheatland Senior Centre or Midtown Care Home.
