I was saddened to hear of Geeta's passing; my sincere condolences go out to Scott and his family. She was a lovely person - inside and out.

    Friendship and bonds are not defined by years or distance. 
     Geeta Kesraj  McLeod a rare gem, you touched all our lives with your passion, zeal for hard work, creativity and love. I would be remiss if I did not thank you for your presence in our lives. You added a new and different dimension . 
    Time and miles did not affect the bond of sisterhood and friendship that we knew. Usha, Geeta, Butch and Sunny grew together in love on Roy Avenue, Marabella, Trinidad, sewing, cooking, making hats, Carnival viewing, Agee and My Puja. Penal, going to the pool, Halloween,  walking after dark, alien sightings, biking, plum chow, church going, bazaar attending , bathroom hiding at the club dances, summer fetes and sharing your amazing Canadian Kids Magazine. 
  You and Scott the first to get married, so sweet, so lovely. 
   Scott, our love , precious  memories and bond will continue.

Aunty Geeta was one of the “coolest” aunts  a niece could have.  We both loved  fashion (LLL) and the “East” in so many ways - clothing, jewelry, henna, food, yoga, etc.  

She always bought awesome gifts for me as a kid and as an adult the most thoughtful gifts  (Lite Bright, Cabbage Patch Kids, Christmas ornaments, homemade Christmas stockings).  She also continued the tradition of sending us the most exquisite tokens of love  for our two kids (wool mittens for school, handmade baby blankets, dream catcher). 

Aunty Geeta will surely be missed. She was my aunt who was never afraid to speak her mind.  She was very outgoing and full personality.

I am so sorry to hear of Geeta’s passing. She was kind and gentle in her professional duties at the medical clinic and I was always happy to see her there when I needed to visit the doctor.   My sincere condolences to her family. She will be missed. 

Geeta was one of the people I grew up with in Trinidad. She and her sister Usha, , were always together with my sister Pateah, and me. We did everything as a group. We played together, went places together, ate together, shopped,  and went to church together. Although Geeta moved to Canada and we moved to the United States, the bond we had was always there. When we would see each other after years apart, it was as if time had not diminished our love and friendship for each other. We could simply pick up our relationship as if it were yesterday. I was Geeta’s bridesmaid at her wedding. She will be sorely missed but the wonderful memories will live on in our hearts and minds forever. Love to Scott and other members of the family. Sleep peacefully, my dear sister. Jeanette (Sunny). 

Scott, our condolences.  My mom and I are deeply saddened by the loss.  Geeta always shone such a bright light of goodness on everything around her.

Geeta was my husband's aunt. I met her a few times and really enjoyed her energy. She seemed carefree and adventurous and somewhat of a hippy. She was also very caring. She remembered our children and we looked forward to her gifts for the kids from Canada.  She will be missed. 

Deepest sympathies to Scott and family.  Loved our visits on gardening and life in general. So glad I got a visit with her in June❤️🙏🙏🙏

Very saddened to find out Geeta has left us she was a special lady always so caring at the Doctors office. A great neighbor as well.

My sincere condolence Scott. I remember all those visits to the doctors’ office and Geeta’s friendly professionalism but what I cherish the most was her recent comment on how she loved her community. She will be missed by many.
