Gilbert was predeceased by his parents, Andre and Alice Labbie; brothers, Lorance and Louis Labbie; in-law, Henry and Marie Fradette; Roger Granger, Leon M. Carles, Denis and Marlene Fradette, Laurent Fradette, Leo Gariepy and Rene Fradette.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Claire of Radville, SK; son, Ron (Donna) Labbie of Radville and family, Rebecca Labbie of Regina, SK and Brie Labbie (Brandon) of Ceylon, SK; son, Craig (Donna Jordan) Labbie of Radville, SK and family, Nicole Labbie (Devin) of Regina, SK, Ian Labbie (Cierra) and Sera Labbie of Radville, SK; son, Kelly (Virginia) Labbie and family, Brooke and Olivia Labbie of Regina, SK; son, Byron (Nancy) Labbie and family, Rhett Labbie of Saskatoon, SK and Haley and Cody Labbie of Radville, SK; sisters, Irene Granger of Medicine Hat, AB and Elaine Wittig of Victoria, B.C.; and brother, Armand Labbie of Rocky Mountain House, AB; in-law, Cecile Carles, Terry Labbie, Lorraine Labbie, Irene and Carl Maley, Evelyn and Richard Dawson, Beatrice Fradette as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
