Helmer was predeceased by his parents, Joe & Nora Lovequist; brothers and sisters, Ken, Herb, Wilbert, Mable, Lois and Gladys.
Helmer is lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Joan Lovequist of Weyburn, SK; sister, Clara Blackwood of Broadview, SK; brothers, Lloyd Lovequist of Broadview, SK and Floyd (Marie) Lovequist of Moose Jaw, SK as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Helmer may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan or to the Weyburn Free Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
