Ida Marie Hoffart

1930 ~ 2017

Ida Marie Hoffart, nee: Strobel late of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, formerly of Minton, Saskatchewan, passed away with her family by her side on October 2, 2017 after a very brave battle with cancer. Ida was predeceased by her husband, Leo Hoffart; parents, Karl and Maria Strobel; brother, Rudolf Strobel & sister, Elizabeth Lacoste; granddaughter, Megan Fonstad; great grandson, Gabriel Fonstad and great granddaughter, Haley Hanson. Ida will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marie (Wayde) Hanson; daughter, Darlene (Armand) Delanoy; daughter, Elaine (Garnet) Roysum; son, Neil (Wendy) Hoffart; son, Ron (Dagen) Hoffart; son, Brian (Michele) Hoffart; son, Frank (Kathy) Hoffart and daughter, Leona (Lance) Fleck; grandchildren: Terra (Travis), Kim (Curtis), Crystal (Brett), Travis (Lindsay), Trina (Rodney), Cory (Cherie), Shane (Lindsay), grandson-in-law, James (Jessica), Michelle (Chad), Jeff (Kaili), Sawyer, Kailyn, Lana, Leo, Tayler, Natasha (Kevin), Michelle (Bill), Jeff (Tami), Dyllan (Kim) Brittney (Joey); great grandchildren: Makenna, Rya, Ella, Declan, Aidan, Katie, Payton, Vayda, Ethan, Cheyanne, Jens, Ty, Mya, Kason, Bella, Olivia, Kaybree, Megan, Bill, Gavin, Heath and Alonna; sisters, Hilda (Borys) Sladkowski, Elfrieda (Joseph) Schmidt, Gertrude Hosemann, brother, Frank (Anna) Strobel; brother-in-law, Aurel Lacoste as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Prayers were said on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, Saskatchewan. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Father Francis Plaprampil and Father Gerry Bauche celebrating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Active Pallbearers were Travis Delanoy, Cory Roysum, Shane Roysum, Dyllan Fleck, Jeff Hoffart and Leo Hoffart. Honourary Pallbearers were all in attendance. For friends so wishing, donations may be made in Ida’s memory to the Weyburn Special Care Home Auxiliary Fund or Recreation Fund.
