Vincent Joseph Abel

He was predeceased by his father, Robert; mother, Mary; brothers, John, Bob and Harold; sister in law, Elizabeth.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Lorraine; daughter, Kathy Abel (Jose Sepulveda); granddaughter, Mallory; sisters in law, Connie and Sue.

Vince enjoyed family camping holidays, and home life. He was fortunate to retire early at age 56, after 35 years of service with Acklands (formerly Bowman Brothers). Vince and Lorraine always looked forward to their annual visit to Hawaii and many road trips south. He was an avid armchair fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

A private family farewell was held for Vince at Green Acres Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 14th, 2017.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Regina General Hospital ER, CCU and post-care, for their efforts and wonderful care.
