

On September 25, 1959, he married the love of his life, Judy M. Henry. They started their family after two years of marriage and moved to the home where they still reside.
Al retired from Coors as a bottle operator. He was a 2nd Lieutenant on the Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department and also worked at Edgewater Parks and Recreation Board. He was a member of the Jaycee’s. His hobbies included playing poker, water walking, camping, and his favorite hobby, traveling. In spite of his Macular Degenerative Disease, Al and Judy took many cruises and road trips and enjoyed every one.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Violet M. Stepanich and Edith C. Hunter; and brothers, Bert F. Hogan and William D. Hogan.
He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Judy Hogan; children, Duain Hogan (Lila), K.C. Hogan, Lee Hogan-Holden (Randy) and Tammi Bushue (Rich); grandchildren, Tyler Hogan, Myles Hogan, Alexis Bushue, Ryan Bushue, Krystal Riehle (Chad), and Zachary Hogan; great grandsons, Alexander Riehle and Benjamin Riehle.
Visitation 5-7 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2015 and Funeral Service, 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace. Interment will follow at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
