Alta J. Eng

Alta Jane Eng, 81, passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on January 30, 2013. She was born to Harvey and Minnie Alderman on August 21, 1931 in Fargo, North Dakota. After meeting the love of her life, Duane Eng, they married on June 6, 1959 and were blessed to celebrate over 53 amazing years together. They had 3 children, Steve, Danny, and Jeff while moving from Fargo, North Dakota to Denver, Colorado, and living in a few other states along the way. Colorado became their home. Alta was mother, wife, and homemaker; always putting her family first. She proved this throughout the years as she helped to care for and raise her grandchildren as well. Even though she moved far from her hometown, she visited every single year for as long as her body allowed. Alta taught her family the importance of love and happiness.

Alta is survived by her husband, Duane Eng, son Steve Eng and his wife Kris Eng, grandchildren; Crystal Morgado, her husband Matt Morgado, Chantelle Eng, Travis Eng, and April Eng, great grandchildren; Kapono Morgado and Haezelyn Wednesday Eng-Finley, brother Ralph Alderman, his wife Beatrice Alderman and sister Florence Hans and her husband Leland Hans.

Alta is predeceased and will be guided into heaven by her sons Daniel Eng and Jeff Eng, her parents; Harvey and Minnie Alderman, and her siblings; Harold Alderman, Marian Honcik, Lenna Alderman, Lowell Alderman, Lois Alderman, and Buelah Nelson, and nephew Terry Alderman.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday February 5, 2013 from 4-6pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary.

Services will be held at 10a.m. on Wednesday February 6, 2013 at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO. Interment follows at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
