

Anthony "Tony" Muti, 91, of Denver, Colorado entered his eternal rest on Saturday, June 4, 2022 due to complications following surgery. Tony was born in Brownsville, Pennsylvania on November 23, 1930. He was dear father to Li Ana Fuentes and beloved grandfather to Roman Fuentes. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise, parents Louie and Teresa Muti, brother Danny Muti, and sister Alma Matteucci. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were like family to him.
Tony will be remembered as a gregarious, outgoing person who loved to dance. He was a born entertainer, lit up any room with his presence, and spent many hours telling stories and jokes. Tony spent his time following the stock market, politics, sports, and occasionally took trips to Blackhawk to play poker and sports betting. Tony is a veteran of the US Air Force, performed duties as a deacon of his church for a time, and valued his membership in the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Following his service to our country he worked as a supervisor in both the insurance industry and for the US Postal Service.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29th at St. Dominic Catholic Church, located at 2905 Federal Boulevard, Denver. Services will begin with a rosary at 11:00 followed by a Catholic mass at 11:30. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, located at 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge at 13:30 (1:30 PM). Afterwards, his family will hold a reception and celebration of Tony's life at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary Heritage Hall where light fare and refreshments will be provided.
