April Renee Anderson, 59, passed away peacefully at home in Lakewood, CO, surrounded by loved ones on August 10,2025. She was born on April 11,1966 in Denver, CO to Myrna and Gerald Anderson. April's calling in life seemed to be taking care of other because she dedicated most of her career as a Certified Nurses Assistant. In her free time she enjoyed reading books, crocheting blankets and slippers, as well as spending time with family and friends.
April is survived by her beloved son Nels, daughter Jazmine, granddaughter Layla, sister Erika, nieces Danielle and Krista, and great-nieces Kaylin, Rihanna and Piper. She was preceded in death by her parents Myrna and Gerald, sister Gerri, niece and nephew Shelby and Jacob. April will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, laugh and her love of family, friends and animals.
A public funeral will be held on Friday, September 12,2025 at 10am at Olinger Funeral-Crown Hill (7777 W. 29th Ave. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033) with s reception to follow.
