Barbara was a 1960 graduate of Holy Trinity High School. She then went on to become a registered nurse and spent her career working for a group of heart surgeons in their Denver office.
In 1993, she married Dr. George Wayne Moss. They lived in their home in Lakewood, Colorado, until he passed away in 2014. They enjoyed traveling and she eventually took up golfing. The focus of their lives became Misty, a perky, bichon puppy. She was their constant companion in their later years.
Barbara devoted her life to helping people. She was a compassionate and caring nurse as well as a loving and supportive family member. She was also meticulously organized which served her well in both her professional and personal life.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, George Wayne Moss, her mother and father, Anna and James Morasky and her brother, Bernard Morasky. She is survived by her step-son, Steve Moss, her nephews, Teddy (Dana) Whetstone-Morasky and J.B. (Terena) Morasky, her niece, Stephanie (Mike) Miller and cousins, Carlo (Patricia) Dutto, Sandra Karger, Christine (Larry) Tortorice, Linda (Richard) Bluhm and Michael (Evelyn) Dardanes.
Services will be at Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery Chapel of Peace, 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, on Friday, November 3, at 10:00 am. Reception to follow at the Crown Hill Heritage Hall Reception Center.
