Ben Richard Trujillo, age 70, passed away July 11, 2015 in Brighton, Colorado. Ben was born November 4, 1944 in Trinidad, Colorado. He is survived by his wife Pat; son Richard (Kim) Trujillo of Leesburg, VA; two grandchildren, Nicole and Ryan Peper, of Northern Virginia; brothers Orlando Gutierrez of Denver CO, Leonard (Elaine) of Trinidad, CO; sister Connie Dykes of Trindad, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ben retired from the City and County of Denver, where he worked as a Building Inspector. After his retirement he enjoyed woodworking and carpentry projects for his family and friends, and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He was a soft-spoken, strong loving man, who was a friend to many. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 5-7pm with a 7pm Rosary; Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 16, at 3pm all at the Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace in Wheat Ridge.
