87, Born March 19,1924 in Alexandra, Kansas and passed away quietly on May 16, 2011 in Arvada, Colorado at Exempla Lutheran Collier Hospice at 4:50 a.m. Bennie loved to go on family road trips to Glenwood Springs, Royal Gorge and Las Vegas. He also enjoyed water skiing and boating with his son and daughter.
He is survived by son Ronald William (Diane) of Castle Rock and daughter Carolyn Rae Shaner (Greg) of Arvada; son Gary; grandchildren, Mike, Michelle (Jason), Tracy (Jayson); great grandchildren, Victoria, Carson, Alyssa; sisters, Marie, Lydia; step children, Robert, Shiela (David); step grandchildren, Katie and Jessica and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by first wife, Martha Jane Wittman and second wife, Isolda Wittman; parents, George Jacob (born in Krim, Russia) and Katrina Elizabeth Wittman; and many siblings. Service, Friday, 10 am, Olinger Crown Hill, W 29th and Wadsworth. Committal to follow.
