

Bill was born in Table Rock, Nebraska. He lived with his family in Nebraska on farms near Tecumseh, Sterling and Beatrice. The family moved to Denver in 1945 where he attended North High School in Denver, graduating in 1950.
He worked as a young man at King Soopers on 38th and Irving followed by several years in Flagstaff, Arizona, working for Frontier Airlines . He found his career finally at Mountain Bell retiring, as Purchasing Manager 30 years later, in 1985. He married Roberta Kemp on June 2, 1968. After retirement he enjoyed helping men select suits at Kuppenheimer’s Men’s Clothing Store. He enjoyed driving for the Apex District Senior Center and accompanying seniors on field trips. For many years, he was an active member of Highland Christian Church in North Denver and First United Church of Arvada (UCC), where he spent countless hours serving as Treasurer, singing in the choir, and tending to property maintenance.

Memorial Service will be held on October 23, 2:00 PM, at First United Church of Arvada, 7195 Simms St., Arvada. Memorial Gifts may be made to First United Church of Arvada or Tennyson Center for Children, 2950 Tennyson St., Denver 80212.
